Islands Tours
* Internal flights between Kansai or Haneda and Ishigaki with ANA
* 3 nights accommodation
Welcome to paradise. This 4 day self-guided tour takes you to Japan's southernmost city. Ishigaki. The main island of the Yaeyama Island chain, Ishigaki is famous for its crystal clear waters and coral reefs. Naturally, this means that the most popular reason for a trip to Ishigaki is scuba diving and Ishigaki has in fact been voted Okinawa's top spot for diving for many years. There is of course also snorkelling and numerous beaches on Ishigaki to be enjoyed. Many tours are available and bicycles and cars are easy to rent, making Ishigaki surprisingly easy to navigate. The nearby island if Iriomote is almost entirely covered by jungle, fantastic for kayaking through or hiking. Alternatively, the nearby Taketomi island has a beautiful preserved Ryukyu village. If you want a taste of island livin' or part of a beach holiday after travelling through Japan's many big cities, this is the trip for you.
